15.

My L.I.I.A.R evaluation of my own work using
                                              Audience feedback!

Taking on all of the feedback I have been given, I have reviewed my work and made a LIIAR evaluation of the three drafts.

L:-
I have kept the house style running through the front cover as I have used the same colour and the same writing font throughout. This is so it looks more professional and also purple is a colour that links well with the chosen college- ‘Wyke’. Also on all 3 of the front covers I have kept the same masthead and on all of them I have kept them big and bold so they stand out and it will be the first thing that the reader sees. I have done the same with the main image. The main image should take up most of the page and should be a middle close up shot, this is because it is what was asked of me to produce. Also, this is so that it is clear who the person is. Also on the drafts where there are medium close up shots are the main image, I have asked the person who is on the front to be looking and making eye contact with the camera. The reason for this is so that it drags the reader to them and grabs the readers attention.
Also on my front cover I will keep the thumbnail images on. This is so the reader knows what will be discussed in the magazine. Unlike on my magazine I will probably have 2 thumbnail images as then this will also encourage more text to be introduced. This would be a good thing as the bad thing for all of the three drafts is the lack of text.
I will try not to alter the way that I have structured it too much as it people said it looked very professional with the positioning of everything.

I:-
Listening to teenagers opinions and their ideas helped me a lot with thinking about what my final product will be like. The ideas they give are very important as it will be very similar to what other teenagers think, this is important because teenagers is the target audience of the college magazine. By listening to the teenagers views on my magazines, I could possibly take the criticism on board and then look to see how I could improve the drafts for when I come to do my magazine.

I:-
One of the positive things that was said about all of the drafts was that they all had bright colour involved on the front covers. The bright colour is done purposely and this is because it will send a positive message out to the public about the college. Another thing that was mentioned in the feedback was that when a front cover had been done with an image of the college in the background, the college was always large and took up the whole of the background. I made sure that I had done this in order make it stand out from the rest of the front cover, doing this, may send out a message that the college stands out above all of the other colleges. It also helped that I had taken nice pictured of the college and taken photos of the appropriate places.

A:-
Getting feedback from my target audience of the magazine really helped me and gave me ideas of how I could improve my magazine for when I create my final product. I will think more about what teenagers are interested in. For example maybe a discount on the front for a fashion shop.
R:- My main intention is to make Wyke college out to be the best college that there is, and I believe that putting on the success of students in certain subjects and the new buildings built will do this for me. This would be a hit to teenagers if they were to think that there had been a big change in Wyke and that it had all been done up.
